1) Anping Fort
Anping Fort remains to be one of the most visited tourist landmarks in Tainan. Chikan Tower was constructed by the Dutch in 1653. The Duitch first called it Orlande, changed it to Fort Zeelandia, It became Anping Fort when it was the home of Zheng Chenggong (Koxinga). After that, the Japanese called it the Old Dutch Fort just as they were demolishing what was leftover from after decades of neglect.

2) Tainan Confucian Temple
Built in 1665, the Confucian Temple is one of the most visited sites in Tainan. Located in the city, but on a shady piece of land, the temple is a testement to the style of old Chinese architecture.
3) Anping Treehouse
The Anping Treehouse is not your typical treehouse. Located in the Anping Fort area, the treehouse is actually one banyan tree that has enveloped an oldwarehouse over the past 60 years. It is quite an amazing site as the tree has spread above, below, and throughout the house. The grounds are well kept and there are many great camera angles to capture some interesting images.

6) Salt Mountain at Qigu (Cigu)
Cigu Saltern was the youngest saltern which was managed by Japanese companies and the Nationalist government, it became the largest saltern, and was once an important supplier of industrial salt. Since than, the salt industry diminished sharply. Lots of money and human resources have been dedicated to build a Taiwan Salt Museum and traditional materials in salt industry to design this park.
This park there boasts two Salt Mountains Looking like a giant rock standing in a desert,: the highest peak of Salt Mountain, and the north peak of Salt Mountain, which used to be the piling space of Cigu Saltern was once the last place to dry the salt of Cigu Saltern, It consists of around 60 thousand tons of salt. The peak have been naturally crystallized over time with the dust in the air to form a rigid surface. It has become the landmark of Cigu.
In addition, the park comes complete park, like traditional earth, “tile tray formation” salterns, fan-shaped salterns, salt houses, salt statues, and equipment used “salt element”. For more fun, take the “Du Du Trains” around the park. Professional narrators will explain everything you want to know to make sure you grasp the beauty of salterns.
