Guanghua Market for Computers and Electronics in Taipei

byEIT

inComputers, Shopping

Guanghua market for computers and electronics is a great place to shop with good bargains.

Hardware, Software, Video Games, Motherboards, Cell Phones, and Accessories!!!!

The Guanghwa Digital Plaza in Taipei City is a must visit if you are shopping for any type of electronic or computer gadget imaginable.  The area is a collection of small alleys and a large 5 story building full of individual vendors.

The Guanghua Market for computers and electronics is a collection of alleys off Ba De Road Section 1.

Getting to Guang Hua Plaza

The market is a short 5 minute walk from the Zhongxiao/Xinsheng MRT Blue Line. There are signs in the MRT station to direct you where to go out of Exit1.

When you exit the station, turn right out of exit 1 (if you’ve exited #2 just head North) and then turn left just up ahead on Xinsheng S. Rd. heading North. You’ll be heading toward Bade Rd. The GuangHwa Digital Plaza is just past Bade Rd. on Civic Blvd.

Check out the map in the MRT station.

The road sign for Ba De Section 1.

Next to the alleys is the large Guang Hua Tech Plaza.”Guang Hua Shi Chang”. 光華市場 This is a 5 story building full of individual vendors selling everything computer or tech related.

The back entrance to the Guang Hua Plaza.

Products at The Guanghua Market for Computers and Electronics

The Guang Hua Plaza is 5 floors full of just about everything tech. Visitors can wander around and check out the merchandise. Bargaining for some items is ok. Many shops sell the same items but good shoppers can always find what they need. There is a lot of English spoken.

Cell phone accessories are everywhere.

The first floor is comprised mainly of larger vendors such as Asus, HP, HTC, Samsung, Lenovo, and Acer. You can find deals on laptops and tablet computers here, but don’t buy until you’ve had a chance to explore the other floors.

Continuing on up to the second floor you’ll find loads of shops that sell pc and tablet accessories, as well as cell phones and other accessories. You’ll find hard drives, mother boards, memory, and more on the 2nd floor. Shop around – you’ll find better prices once you dig a bit and check out several shops. I found what I thought was a deal on an Intel SSD drive only to find that same drive in another shop for about NT$1000 less.

Camera Gear

Here are car cameras.

A few stores sell camera equipment and bags.

This sign lists PCs and their prices and components.

LEDs and clocks.

Adapters and wires are all here!

On the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors you’ll find more computer accessories, as well as lighting and other electronics, CCTV camera shops, and misc electronics parts stores. You’ll find headphones, blank CDs and DVDs, memory cards, as well as cameras and camera accessories on all floors. You’ll also find stores that sell software and some books.

A large mouse selection for gamers.

Car mounts for cameras and cell phones.

There are several video game outlets.

Speakers and amplifiers.

GuangHwa Digital Plaza Taipei City

Apple Fans, don’t despair.  Outside the plaza on Ba De Road is an Apple Licensed Dealer.

The Guang Hua Market is a great place for your computer needs. It’s worth a stop. Enjoy!
