Just about a 10 minute drive south of the Jiaoxi hot spring town is a pretty walking trail up to Wu Feng Qi Waterfall. 礁渓五峰祺瀑布

Wufengqi Waterfall Details

Wufengqi Waterfall is a nice afternoon or morning trip to enjoy the mountains of Yilan County. The hike is easy and takes only about 45 minutes – 1 hour for slow walkers. The scenery is lush and beautiful with thick green mountains and the sound of a bubbling mountain stream.

How to get there

From Jiaoxi, it is very easy to find a map and follow the small roads out of town and into the country. There are plenty of road signs in English so traveling by scooter, car, or bicycle is convenient.

As you approach the waterfall area, there is a large parking lot (small fee) where walkers can park, enjoy a grassy field and stream, and start along the walking path up to the waterfall.
