The Donghe steamed bun shop is located in the Township of Donghe on the east coast of Taiwan along Coastal Road 11.

Steamed buns are a Taiwanese snack. It is a bun that is filled with different ingredients like vegetables, meat and vegetables, or sweet flavors like sesame, peanuts, and taro.

Most travelers that are passing by the Donghe bun shop will pop in for a snack. There are a variety of steamed buns to choose from. The cost is very low and they are a great snack to munch on outside or take with you and eat later in the day.

What kind of steamed buns can I get?

There are many varieties of steamed buns at the shop. There isn’t any English, but there are plenty of pictures.

For salty options you can try, pork, pork and cabbage, or bamboo root and some pork. (really good!)

There are also sweet buns that include, sesame, peanut, red bean, and taro.

There is a steamed onion bread as well which doesn’t have any filling inside.
