Story House


The Taipei Fine Arts Museum (traditional Chinese台北市立美術館 ) is a popular museum, in TaipeiTaiwan. The museum first opened on December 24, 1983 at the former site of the United States Taiwan Defense Command (USTDC, dissolved in 1979). It was the first purpose built museum in Taiwan to host modern and contemporary art exhibitions. The architecture is a local adaption of the Japanese Metabolist movement.


The Fine Arts Museum is  a wonderful place to take your family for a tourist attraction. It is a hot top tourist spot in Taipei. located about ten minutes walk from Yuanshan MRT station (圓山捷運站). This is popular top popular tourist attraction.


This museum hosts many exhibitions of  talented artists from many different places around the world. It is also home to a large  collection of Taiwanese art.

Taipei Fine Arets Museum


The Taipei Story House is located right beside the museum (台北故事館).


It is housed in a strange looking European style wood and brick building bearing the name" Yuanshan Villa". It holds small exhibitions on several different topics.


It is worth a short  side or part day tour  while visiting the Fine Arts Museum.
