Craft Beer in Taipei City is plentiful.
The list of craft beer venues keeps growing. It’s crazy in Taipei. .We are going to do our best to keep a decent list together. Remember that places can open and close quickly here, so do an update of any establishment before you go to make sure it’s still there. Happy Drinking!
1) Mikkeler Beer 米凱樂啤酒吧
Mikkeler is a Danish craft brewery. The Taipei pub has a clean and simple wood design with over 30 taps of beer. Whatever style, flavor, abv, ibu, ipa, apa, saison, or lager you prefer, they probably have it. Mikkeler is located at the end of Di Hua Street on Nanjing West Road.

2) 23 Public Craft Beer in Taipei Daan and Xin Beitou MRT Station
One of our favorite craft beer brands is Taiwan’s 23 Public. There are 2 locations. There first pub is near the Shi Da and their second is under the Xin Bei Tou MRT station.
Both pubs have 23 Public’s selection of beers including some guest beers they may be hosting on tap. The venues are small and cozy.

3) Jim and Dad’s Taproom Taipei 吉姆老爹 台北大稲埕店
Jim and Dad’s main brewery is in Yilan and visitors can get fresh draught beers and food.
The Taipei pub is small and cozy and in one of those old Taipei buildings. Drinkers can sample flights or get pints of Jim and Dad’s most recent brews.

4) Zhangmen Taipei (3 locations) 掌門
Zhangmen 掌門 is a local Taiwan craft brewery with 20-36 taps at their various locations. You can find 3 Zhangmen bars in Taipei city. There are on Yong Kang Street, on the 4th Floor of Breeze Mall, and one in Neihu. All are a little different but offer up the same fresh draught beers.
Here are the 3 Taipei locations for Zhangmen:
1) Taipei Yong Kang Street location. 台北永康-This is the original Zhangmen Pub. It is a smaller venue with a rustic charm. Open from 1:00pm-1;00am.

2) Taipei Neihu location 台北內湖– The Neihu location is a lot similar to the Zhangmen bars you find in Kaohsiung and Tainan. They have a very modern and clean look.

3) Breeze Plaza 4th Floor.台北微風松高-This pub is on the 4th floor of the ritzy Breeze Plaza shopping area. It has a more cosmopolitan feel.

5) Revolver
Revolver is a popular bar and live music venue in Taipei City located near the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall. The 1st floor is the bar area with an open front entrance so customers can either mingle inside or out on the sidewalk. The 2nd floor is a space for live music where bands and DJs often perform. They always have a few craft beers on tap and a few bottle selections. Revolver has a few standing tables out on the side walk and is a popular place for the post work crowd.

6) Driftwood in Ximen Ding
Driftwood is a unique bar located in the Ximending area. They are not all about craft beer, but they have a few on tap. You can also get cocktails and a nice array of food. The cool thing about this place is they have a line of bar seating along the sidewalk facing into the bar. You don’t see this often in Taipei.
7) Ximen Beer Bar 酒肆西門
Ximen Beer Bar is a cozy craft pub also located near the Ximending area. Great staff, nice ambiance, and a great selection of craft brews.
