1) Pasadena 帕莎蒂娜
Pasadena has been around the longest of these choices. Their restaurant group has several locations around Kaohsiung City. They have bread bakeries at the Heti Park location, and the Kaohsiung Fine Arts Museum area. Breads come out fresh from the oven at around 2-3 pm daily. There are a variety of choices including large loaves prices at over 400NT.

2) Wu Pao Chun 吳寶春
Wu Pao Chun is probably the most famous bread bakery in Taiwan. The owner and baker of the same name became famous when his “Taiwan Longan Red Wine Bread” won a prestigious international award. Since then, Wu Pao Chun has opened 2 bakeries in Taiwan. The first was opened in Kaohsiung and then was followed by a smaller shop in Taipei City.

3) Shakespeare 莎士比亞烘焙坊
Shakespeare was opened by an apprentice of Wu Pao Chun. The breads and pastry are excellent and they have created their own styles and flavors that set them apart from Wu Pao Chun. Shakespeare has 3 locations around Kaohsiung City. All are open at 11:00am but the loaves come out of the oven around 2-3pm.
