Chen Philou can English/Chinese/French menu.French Chef Philippe Rouchet has relocated his Tonton Philou restaurant from the Dakeng Scenic Area to the downtown "Little Europe" neighborhood and offers both old and new entrees, including nine pasta and five risotto dishes (NT$180-190) that diners can also make part of a weekday Business Lunch (NT$170 with soup or soft drink). There are also salads, desserts, various drinks and take-out quiche (NT$60 each). New dish Black Boudin with Apple and Mashed Potatoes (NT$390) is a traditional French favorite made with black pork-blood sausage and modifed by Philippe into an attractive layered tower. Pictured behind it is another new item, the hearty Goat Cheese Salad (NT$190).Philippe (with wife Josephine behind him) assists a diner with a very novel new offerings--Raclette (NT$520). Very popular in France's Savoy region and Switzerland, this imported grill comes with sliced potatoes, tomatoes, oyster mushrooms, salami, smoked chicken and beef, French bread, and cheese.
