Party Animal Pub Taichung

Party Animal pub is located south of People's Park between Meitsun and Ying Tsai Rd. It hasn't quite caught on with the foreigners yet, but is quite popular with the locals. There are very good live bands working there every night that do decent covers of standard pop tunes. The house band in this popular Taiwan night club usually has a sexy Taiwanese girl lead singer who can really get the crowd worked up on a good night and get the dance floor rocking. This Taichung pub thats been part of the Taichung nightlife for around 15 years or more. Definitely worth a listen for live entertainment Taichung.The food on offer is a mix of Chinese and Chinese versions of Western food. They have fries, steak, spaghetti, and chicken nuggets to go along with the mustard octopus. My favorite is the huge crispy chicken wings with special herbs and spices, well worth a try. The have all of the standard beers on offer to go along with a wide range of shooters. I love the test tube frozen style.Foreigners looking to get away from the foreign scene for fun and music may find this to be an attractive alternative as there is less competition for the affection of the locals.Now you need a change from the typical Taiwan disco or especially Taichung disco scene that rarely show live bands these days.
