Ever crave a taste from home that you can’t find anywhere? Chances are you’ll be able to find whatever you’re looking for at Mei Chen Siang. They offer an excellent selection of reasonably-priced imported meats, bagels, cereals, dairy products, sauces, drinks and canned goods among other things, not to mention fresh bread they bake daily themselves. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, the friendly boss will do his best to import it with the next load. It’s been open for over 60 years, but you’ve probably never heard of it because it’s so hard to find! To locate Mei Chen Siang go down Min Quan road towards the train station, then turn left at Zi You road (written Tzu You on the street sign.) Next, on the second traffic light, you’ll see a Rolex store on the right. Turn right, and you’ll see Mei Chen Siang supermarket the second store on your right. Enjoy what you’ve been missing!
