Helping Hands Animal Charities Thrift Store
is located in the West district. They have a wide selection of used second hand furniture, clothing, electronics, kitchen ware, and fashion accessories. It's for a great cause and the prices are very resobabke. I picked up two pairs of handmade dress pants. They seemed to have never been worn NT 100- each. I got a warm winter jackets and a couple of high quality hoodies, plus a nice necklace and the two pairs of dress pants. All in perfect shape for under 1000 NT.
You can drop your old second hand items off and the many volunteers will make sure it goes to a good cause.
Helping Hands also run dog sheltee in and around the Taichung are.
The animal shelter in Taiping:
they take in animals that have been abused on injured. PLESAE DON"T BRING US STRAYS OR HOMELESS ANIMALS HERE.

Helping Hands is a great idea to reduce recycling and help many needy people. The volunteers are wonderful, big idea people with big hearts.

I save a lot getting my new room furnished and some warm winter apparel. Very helpful and friendly staff who speak excellent English too. Save the world a bit at a time.
