Certified American Teacher
After teaching in Taiwan for more than 10 years, I returned to America to obtain my teaching certification earlier this year. I am now ready to return to Taiwan with my certification in hand.
While most of my career has been in the classroom, I have also been successful as an administrator in Taiwanese schools. I love teaching, but would enjoy the opportunity to serve in a broader leadership role.
After becoming fluent in Chinese, I obtained my master's degree in Education from Chiayi University in 2008. My thesis was using Multiple Intelligences (MI) theory to design ESL/EFL curriculum. Much of my later curriculum development work was done in character education. My teaching certification is in Social Studies, grades 4-12.
